Carrie Reiling is an Assistant Professor of Political Science and International Studies at Washington College, where she teaches about international politics and researches women and grassroots organizations in Africa. A native of rural Western Nebraska (home of Carhenge), she has also lived in Minnesota, Washington DC, the United Kingdom, Southern California, Senegal, Côte dʼIvoire, Guinea, and Mali. Prior to earning her PhD, Carrie worked as an editor, proofreader, and writer. She now lives in Chestertown with her husband, David, who owns Holman Building.
